becoming a member
Membership of STC is regulated by our parent organization. There are various ways to register as a new member: online, by fax or by regular mail. The forms for registration by fax or mail can be taken from the STC website in PDF format or ASCII text. The online registration uses a secure server and requires a valid credit card. Membership of STC Netherlands
There is no separate membership for STC Netherlands: the STC associates her members to one of the existing chapters, and STC Netherlands receives part of the membership fees for STC members that are associated to it. From these fees, we can keep this website up for the Dutch members and we can organize conferences and other events.
Are you a resident of the Netherlands ? In this case, you will be automatically associated to STC Netherlands (unless you explicitly choose another chapter). We receive regular updates of the membership and will contact you. Apart from the publications you will receive from STC direct, you will receive information in paper or electronic formats from us.
Do you live outside of the Netherlands, but do you still want to be associated to STC Netherlands ? This is also possible: you indicate the Netherlands Chapter as the chapter of your preference.
Are you already STC member, but not associated to STC Netherlands ? You can change your chapter by sending an email to the STC Membership contact in the global STC office.
Do you not want to be associated to any Chapter ? Even this is possible. Indicate this when registering as a new member. Of course, you will not receive specific Dutch information in this case and you may miss interesting events in the Netherlands.
In all these cases you are welcome to the STC, and especially to STC Netherlands !
